The ‘Mojave experiment’

Published by Lev Detrez under brands, internet

This is cool: Microsoft did a blind test with some die hard XP users (and Vista haters) to try out a new operating system by Microsoft, called Windows Mojave. They liked it a lot. What they didn’t knew was that Mojave is actually Windows Vista…

See for yourself: http://www.mojaveexperiment.com/

Personally I’m not a great fan of Vista either, but I’ve actually never tried it myself. Instead of installing Vista on my new laptop, I chose XP.

For my old computer I decided to try out Ubuntu, because I wasn’t able to re-install XP. This operating system looks really nice and stable. And it’s free!

Why don’t you try it. It’s very easy to install. You can run both Ubuntu and Windows on one computer!

Well… the times they are changing!

Nowadays; you gotta surf google earth, select a pool… and party!!!’

Say what? Geeky teens are using the intenet to find swimming pools near by. Once the target is selected, the swimmers use Facebook to arrange an organized, but uninvited, pool-crash!

I guess we know who ran OUT of ideas, don’t we John?

Hans Teeuwen is back

Published by Lev Detrez under comedy, internet, video

Today, www.hansteeuwen.tv was launched, an online ‘theater’ with video and audio from one of Holland’s finest stand-up comedians Hans Teeuwen. The site is not amazing, the videos on the other hand… crazy!

Hans Teeuwen looks like he’s been using drugs since he was baby, but I like his arrogant, straight to the bone style. I hope it will be updated regulary.

Fun fun fun!

China’s earthquake on Twitter

Published by Lev Detrez under internet, news, twitter, web 2.0

Read the story of Robert Scoble. Apparently the Earthquake was first reported on Twitter WHILE IT WAS STILL  HAPPENING! I don’t think it can be any faster!

I’ve always been a fan of Google, especially Gmail. I used it to send emails from the web, via my mobile phone, and to store important messages. But I must say: Gmail looks like shit. That’s gonna change from now on, because here’s a solutions for pimping your Gmail look ‘n feel in Firefox!

Look at the old ‘ugly blue’ style:
